Great food and atmosphere at the Gerst House restaurant. We headed into town at 6 PM, in the Miata.
It's nice the Miata can fit two bikes! We discovered later that we didn't need to take the back wheels off - they only stick out a little. (They are quick release wheels, even in the back, so it took no time at all either way.)
The restaurant was charging $10 to park there during the fireworks. Even if you ate there. So we drove on...
We drove far enough away from downtown that parking was free.
As we started to ride into town, we noticed a group of bikers.
It just so happened we had parked right beside the Nashville Bicycle Lounge, a hip bike sales and repair shop, and cycling team.
The Nashville Bicycle Lounge was happy to have us ride along with them. Notice Joshua on right - he's in each of the following photo - try to spot him! :-)
