Getting on the 3rd plane for this day-long trip from Nashville to Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Leaving for Klamath Falls, Oregon, March 7th.
It had been years since I had seen snow covered mountains.
I was saying "wow!" out loud. ..and turned around "wow!". Mountains everywhere!
The view in the other direction. Still on the tarmac.
The drive into town. Andy rented a van and drove us.
The restaurant at the Running Y Lodge.
This was taken at 7 am, two mornings later. We worked from 8:30 to past 6 pm both days there, so I didn't get a chance to take other daytime pictures. But you can see the beautiful lodge at http://www.runningy.com
The Edgenet team and the Jeld-Wen team at The Creamery Restaurant, the last evening. I have several pictures still in my camera phone. Will post as soon as I figure out how to download them.
The drive back to the airport, at 5 am, Friday. Thanks, Andy, for driving us safely on snow and ice.
6:10 and we're on board the twin-prop plane. This is the de-icer man turning the propeller in between blasts of de-icer stuff.
6:30 and we're off to Portland, Oregon.
I have some movies of the take-off and landing. Will post sometime.
The rest of these pictures were taking from the 2nd airplane - Portland to Minneapolis.
This is the first time I take "aerial photos". They are definately fun to work with in post-processing.
No skin tones to worry about. :-)
Can anyone tell me what mountain this is? (I don't know.)
It was taken 1 hour out of Portland, on way to Minneapolis. Is this Montana?
I was seated in the very back row of the plane - the only seat left by a window that wasn't over a wing. Thanks, Eldon!
